Energica Motor Company, a leading Italian electric motorcycle manufacturer, has introduced three powerful and advanced electric motorcycles in the Nepalese market. These high-performing electric motorcycles have been introduced by Enduro Motors in Nepal, a subsidiary of Turbo Motors (the sole distributor of Ducati in Nepal).
With Nepal’s strategic plans to reduce fuel imports with the goal of switching light-duty petrol vehicles to electric vehicles by 2031, electric vehicles have been steadily gaining popularity in the country. The introduction of the Energica Motor Company is an extravagant step for the EV sector of Nepal.
Energica Motor has introduced three products, Evo, Eva Ribelle and Essesse9, that give high-capacity IC motorcycles a run for their money and are designed to meet the needs of those who want performance. All Energica models sit on a steel tubular trellis frame and come equipped with high-end components like fully-adjustable 43mm Marzocchi forks with adjustable rebound and compression mated with cast aluminum wheels, Bitubo rear mono shock with adjustable rebound, Regina O-ring chain, Brembo brakes, cast aluminium swingarm, and Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tires.

ENERGICA EGO
The Energica Ego is claimed by Energica to be the world's first street-legal electric Italian sports motorcycle and the flagship of the Energica brand.
The Energica Ego has a claimed peak power of 126 kW, torque of 215 Nm, a maximum speed limited to 240 km/h, and a range of 420 km (city). The acceleration figures come in at 0-100kmph in 2.8 seconds. The Energica Ego gets four riding modes (Urban, Eco, Wet, Sport), four regenerative modes, cruise control, traction control, park assistant (back and forth), TFT colour display, switchable ABS, and Long Period Rest (LPR) function that allows the maintenance and automatic balancing of the batteries during a long period of non-use.
Energica motorcycles can be charged outdoors at public charging stations or at home. Thanks to the Slow Charge Mode 2 or 3, you can top up the battery for 63.5 km every hour. The Fast Charge DCFC Mode 4 mode, on the other hand, charges the Ego at 6.7 km every minute – more quickly than any other electric motorcycle on the planet.
ENERGICA EVA RIBELLE
The Energica EVA Ribelle is the naked version of the Energica Ego, with the same torque, power, acceleration and range; the only key differences being riding position and top speed.
The Energica Eva Ribelle has a claimed power of 126kW, a torque of 215 Nm, a maximum speed limited to 200 km/h, and a range of 420 km (city). The acceleration figures come in at 0-100kmph in 2.8 seconds. In terms of features, it gets cruise control, traction control, four riding modes (Urban, Eco, Wet, Sport), four regenerative modes, park assistant (back and forth), LPR function, TFT colour display, and switchable ABS. The Eva Ribelle features the same charging capabilities as its supersport cousin.
ENERGICA ESSEESSE9
The Energica EsseEsse9 is the world’s first “classic” retro-styled electric motorcycle. The Energica EsseEsse9 shares the technology and sophistication of the EGO and the EVA Ribelle but is made more suitable for casual riding without the demanding hyper-performance of the other two models. There are two charging modes as standard like the Energica Ego and Eva Ribelle.
The Energica EsseEsse9 has a claimed power of 80kW, torque of 200 Nm, a maximum speed limited to 200 km/h, and a range of 420 km (city). The acceleration figures come in at 0-100kmph in 3 seconds. The Esseesse9 shares the same features and dimensions as the Eva Ribelle. The electric bike is available in three colours - Riviera Green, Bormio Ice and Sunrise Red.
